How Keno works

Power Keno replaces the spinning reels of a slot with a lottery-style draw. Each round you pick anywhere from 2 to 10 numbers on the 8x10 grid (80 numbers total), stake anywhere from C$0.10 to C$50, and Igrosoft's RNG then draws 20 numbers from the pool. Payouts scale by two variables: how many numbers you picked, and how many of those match the draw. Pick 4 and hit all 4, for example, and you're paid around 50x your stake; pick 10 and match 6, and you're paid roughly 10x.

The pay-table lives inside the game — hover any picked count and you'll see the per-hit multiplier grid. In practice the sweet spot for most rounds sits at 5 to 7 picks: the odds of a partial match are high enough to keep small returns flowing, while the top-end payouts remain healthy. If you'd rather not choose manually, tap Quick-pick and the game rolls dice on your behalf. Auto-play runs in 15-round batches, letting you pre-set both pick count and stake.

Progressive jackpot pool

What lifts Power Keno above generic Keno titles is the progressive pool. Every stake placed anywhere in the game contributes C$0.01 to a shared jackpot pot that sits above the base pay-table. When any player picks all 10 numbers and matches all 10 in a single round, the pool empties into their balance. The mathematical odds of a 10-of-10 hit on 20 draws from 80 sit at roughly 1 in 8.9 million — genuinely rare, but with thousands of rounds cycling through Igrosoft's shared pool worldwide every hour, the jackpot lands often enough to keep the counter meaningful.

The pool is capped by the equivalent of 100,000x the maximum stake at Igrosoft's side. In practical terms that means if you stake C$50 and hit a 10-of-10 while the pool is full, the total prize can reach C$5,000,000 — though in-round side-bets and the actual pool state at your moment of hit dictate the exact figure. In-game side-bets let you back a specific hit-count band (say, "6 or more matches") for an extra C$0.05 to C$0.50 per round, layered on top of the base wager.

Strategy

Because Keno is 100% RNG-driven and each round is independent, no picking system beats the maths. What you can steer:

• Pick count: 5-7 numbers is the mathematical sweet spot for regular small returns
• Session bankroll: 100x base bet minimum (C$10 at C$0.10) — low variance means shallow bankrolls survive longer than on slots
• Stake sizing: 0.5-1% of session budget per round; the low-variance profile rewards patience over big single stakes
• Chasing the jackpot: don't — the 1-in-8.9-million ceiling means you should treat any pool hit as a bonus, not a target
• Side-bets: fine as small entertainment adds, but each one reduces effective RTP by roughly 1.5%
• Quick-pick vs manual: statistically identical results; use whichever keeps your sessions moving

Power Keno vs slots — differences

Power Keno isn't a slot, and treating it like one is the fastest way to burn through a bankroll wondering why nothing feels familiar.
